Custom 404 Error Pages To Capture More Leads

You’re do doubt familiar with the 404 Error Page. You know, the ole “file not found” page you find on the web from time to time.

Most websites squander their 404 Page by failing to customise their 404 message.

But if people are going to hit it anyway (as they will from time to time), you may as well provide an opportunity to make amends.

  2. I like it! I’ve customized my 404 page to provide some more information to the user, some suggested pages, and even pre-filled a search box for them but having a nice call to action with a sign-up box is genius!

  3. A good 404 page shoudl really never be seen (if you manage your site correctly) however if you don;t then it’s a great place to convert people. I’m also amazed looking at analytics and seeing what phrases bring people there as well.
